Up to 92% of bond collateral can be utilised for trading margin products in the Forex trading and Oil Futures trading markets, along with leveraged online CFD trading. Existing bonds deposited with Saxo Capital Markets also become eligible as margin collateral, using the bond rating to set the value available for margin trading.

Saxo Capital Markets clients can access a team of Sales Traders for bond trading by clicking on the live Dealer Chat module of the online trading platform and supplying their Client ID, ISIN code and the cash or nominal value of the bond investment. All bonds are traded offline, but can be monitored on Saxo Capital Markets' versatile trading platforms.

Market orders are always accepted for bond trading by Saxo Capital Markets, but limit orders are not currently supported. Clients who are uncertain of the collateral value of a bond investment can easily obtain the information by asking their Account Executive to contact Risk Management.

A multitude of worldwide bonds are available for trading in Singapore through Saxo Capital Markets and clients are able to search online through the full offering by currency and maturity. A team of Sales Traders are always ready to assist investors with pricing and availability information for other bonds.

Clients should note that for bonds that pay out "coupons", the cash value will be credited to their trading account, in accordance with industry standard settlement procedures.
