How do I open an account?
You can apply for an account by filling up the necessary forms. Click here to download the forms. You must mail us the original signed forms along with the additional documents as requested on the forms.
We will then validate your application and contact you when your account is open. This normally takes two working days from when we receive your application. To speed the up the process, you can also send us a copy of your application via fax. We will then process your application while waiting for your original signed copies to arrive by mail.
We will notify you by email as soon as your account is open.
You can now open an account and get approval in 30 minutes. This is available only to customers who apply in person for an Individual or Joint trading account at the office of Saxo Capital Markets located at 3 Church Street #30-00 Samsung Hub Singapore 049483, from 9am to 5pm on weekdays, excluding public holidays. You are required to present the following documents upon application:
- Original Proof of Identity documents, ie. NRIC/passport
- Proof of Residency, i.e. bank statements, utility bills, landline phone statements
Please note that we are entitled to reject any submitted account application without obligation to furnish any reasons. Our decision on all matters relating to account opening shall be final.
What is the minimum account size?
The minimum initial deposit when opening an account with Saxo Capital Markets is SGD10,000 for a Saxo Account and SGD100,000 for a Saxo Premium Account.
You can select as many currencies as the base currency of your account and all transactions will be converted back to the base currency of your account.
How do I fund my account?

What products will I be able to trade?
Saxo Capital Markets offers a comprehensive range of trading products, including:
- Forex — competitive margin trading on 160 Forex currency crosses. We offer a full range of Forex investment products including spot Forex on live tradable prices, options and forwards
- CFDs Contract for Difference stock derivatives from 22 major stock exchanges
- Traditional stocks from 29 major stock exchanges
- Contract futures for over 450 futures contracts
Due to regulatory restrictions, we are currently unable to offer these products to U.S. residents.
How can I trade Saxo Capital Markets' Products?

How do I withdraw cash from my account?

How secure is trading through SaxoTrader?
SaxoTrader authentication relies on an a RSA 1024-bit key generated and stored on the client workstation. Data traffic is encrypted using a RC4 128-bit session key. SaxoTrader provides a highly secure trading environment using state-of-the-art encryption for communications.
What service will I receive as a client of Saxo Capital Markets?
Even though most trading is done online, we take pride in the level of personal service that we offer our clients. As a new premium client with minimum deposit of SGD100,000, an Account Manager will be assigned to you when you first open an account. He/She will assist you to start trading as soon as possible. Your Account Manager is your primary contact person and can be contacted through the online chat facilities available through SaxoTrader or by telephone or email.
